THE newest addition is the KT 73 Mode S, Data Link Transponder with
TIS capabilities. This product offers comprehensive functional and safety
capability for piston aircraft operators, which includes data-linked traffic information
services to the cockpit, and flight ID input from the front panel.
The KT 73 is a panel-mounted General Aviation Mode S Transponder
that meets TSO-C112 for Class 2A ATCRBS Mode A and C/Mode S Airborne
Transponder Systems. It also meets the European classic surveillance mandate,
and will be certified to JTSO-2C112a.
