About LOOP

LOOP is all about flying – and it’s driven by the passion we all feel for something we love, and the love you have for it as a pilot, student, or enthusiast, That’s where it all starts and as a collective of journalists, designers, marketeers, film-makers and web designers, our aim is to produce media that matches the excitement you feel about getting up in the air and leaving the worries of the world behind.

It’s the title we wanted to read, but could never find. So we did it ourselves.

Our whole concept is based on time: your time. You give us your time and we give you passion for flying all wrapped up in print, online or film.

LOOP invests more in its editorial that any other GA-specific publication in the UK. Our flight tests reflect the effort and creativity that goes into putting you in the cockpits of some of the most iconic planes in the sky, while our news and analysis cuts through the smoke and mirrors of politics and commerce to bring the real story as it matters to you.

We hope you enjoy it all, and are entertained and informed by the features and interviews with some of the stars of our world.

The best bit is, you don’t even have to pay for it. If you’re a pilot, in training, or about to start flying, we’re on your side and will do everything we can do help you get more from GA. LOOP is by pilots, for pilots – and that’s why we ask some questions of you to learn the most we can about how we can best bring you what you want.

If you don’t fly and have no interest in learning, you can still get the printed LOOP on paid subscription – and if that isn’t enough to convince you to start your PPL, we don’t know what is.

Whether it’s online, in print, or in film, LOOP provides you with the fresh air for flying that we always craved but got sick of waiting for.

Thanks for taking the time to discover a little about the philosophy that drives everything we do.

We love what we do, and hope you do too.
